Autumn Colors

F all is just absolutely the bestest time of year in northern New Mexico. At least according to this guy. The wonderful smell of green chiles being roasted all over town tells you that the colors will be a-changin' soon!

I rode the always-awesome South Boundary Trail with Taos Director of Tourism Greg de Taos and the colors were fantastic. No need for LSD on this ride when the aspens are golden - you'll be trippin' anyway.

The Spanish name Mondragon has long been present in these parts, long before Teodoro carved this in 1948.

Yesterday was another awesome fall ride, this time in the aspen groves above Santa Fe in the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
